CARRICK HAPPY WITH FORM
Michael Carrick is glad that he finally got off the mark against Aston Villa on Saturday.
"It's good to get off the mark," said Carrick. "It's a bonus really, our first thoughts were on winning the game.
"But the longer you go without scoring a goal the harder it gets, so it was good to get off the mark.
"It is nice to get one. It's not something I was really focused on, I knew it would come at some stage and I am happy it has happened and hopefully there is more to come."
Carrick admits he is learning all the time from playing alongside United's array of stars and feels there is improvement to come.
"Playing in a team like this brings you on, just training improves you and I am sure there is a lot more to come from me," he added. "The way things are going at the moment for me I am very happy.
"I don't think we are firing on all cylinders, there is still more to come. I am sure we can kick on and improve and progress until the end of the season."
