CARRICK OUT OF ENGLAND SQUAD
Michael Carrick will be ruled out of the match against Switzerland after suffering an injury. After further examination by England's medical staff, it has been decided to release Carrick back to Old Trafford for treatment, leaving coach Fabio Capello with 24 remaining members of his squad.
One of them, Darren Bent, is hoping to continue to make an impact on Saturday after netting in his last three internationals - against Switzerland, Denmark and Wales.
CARRICK READY FOR CHELSEA
