FULHAM INTERESTED IN SIGNING MICHAEL CARRICK
Mark Hughes has said that he will be interested in signing out of favour Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick in the January transfer window. Anders Lindegaard will be arriving.
Carrick is contracted to Manchester United until the end of next season and has yet to agree a new deal with the club. He has not had an easy time of things this term, suffering from an Achilles problem.
Carrick recently returned to Sir Alex Ferguson's side though and although he is desperate to stay at Manchester United for as long as possible, he could be sacrificed to strengthen other positions in the squad, according to The People.
The Sunday paper speculates that Michael Carrick would set back either Fulham or Aston Villa £7 to £8million if they shop around.
